[Review] Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free Cake Powder

Now I want to post about my two way cake powder.  Beforehand, I wore the Maybelline compact powder, but since the Maybelline beauty assistant told me that it's simpler if I wear two way cake because it contains foundation, I gave myself a try. This two way cake is also contains SPF 25 and PA++. They will help me cover my face from UV A and UV B.

The package is similar with other two way cake. It has very cute pink color. The mirror is quite wide. It is really efficient if I bring this two way cake for traveling. The sponge is not really good. I usually use my own sponge.  It has 5 shades and I chose the natural one because beforehand, I used Maybelline compact powder shade natural and it suited me best.

On the package, you will read that this two way cake claim that it has shine free effect with all day shine control, UV protection, instant brightening conceals, long wear, smoothes, and evens effects. It also claims that this powder is non comedogenic and oil free. It has matte effect after applying.

I'm sorry that I don't really understand about its ingredient. I don't read something oily, but it contain paraben. :(

The shade natural

Result? 

Actually, I really love this two way cake. It has matte effect on me. And yes, its oil control is really good. It usually take 5-6 hours before I need to reapply this two way cake on my dry face. But the one that I really don't like about this product is the shade. Yes, it's too pinkish for my face that has yellow tone. Sometimes, I look like wear a mask while using this two way cake. It's very tricky to apply this product to avoid pink effect on my face.

I really love its texture, oil control, and UV protection. But sadly, the shade that I chose doesn't suit me well. Maybe I will buy this product and try other shades. Wish me luck, girls!
