[Review] Garnier Sakura White Pinkish Radiance and Smooth Pores Whitening Serum Cream VS Garnier Light Complete White Speed Multi-Action Whitening Serum Cream

Hi girls, now I will talk about my two moisturizers that I used recently. I tried two kind of moisturizers from the same brand because I just wanted to know which was work better for me. They are : 

Garnier Sakura White Pinkish Radiance and Smooth Pores Whitening Serum Cream (because the name is so long let's just call it Garnier Sakura) and

Garnier Light Complete White Speed Multi-Action Whitening Serum Cream (just call it Garnier Light Speed).

Actually, I already used Garnier cream for more than a year and it worked well in my skin, but I see that Garnier doesn't produce the cream anymore, instead, they produce serum cream. They claim that the serum cream has richer formula and it is better than the previous cream. 

The consistency

To make it easy, I will make a table comparing both serum cream from Garnier below :

Result on me	I don’t see the whitening effect after using 1 pot contain 18 ml cream.	I see the whitening effect, it also give pinkish radiant effect as it claims after one month using it daily.

Final Verdict : 

For me, Garnier Sakura White is better because my skin type is dry skin and Garnier Light Complete drying my skin. I also hate the strong lemon scent. I think Garnier Light Complete is better for you who have oily skin with/without acne problems. 

Although I like Garnier Sakura White, I don't like its pinkish effect. My skin is not fair as Asian skin, but my skin is yellow, some kind of Javanese skin tone. In my yellow skin, the pinkish radiant give the strange color, and I feel like my skin became grey. Sometimes I also think that yellow skin with pinkish radiant is weird. For hydrating, this serum worked so so. I think I need more moisturizer cream with good hydrating effect. I can say that this both products are suitable for teenager's skin. For mature skin, ehmm... better looking for other moisturizers.

[Review] Khalisa Lip Care Pure Vanilla Honey

Hello, 

Do you know that our lips also need protection from UVA and UVB. Believe me or not, I just realized that several months ago. That's why I decided to buy lip care product that has UV protection because I realized that finding lipstick with UV protection was more difficult than finding lip care with sun care. At that time, my choice was Khalisa Lip Care. I chose the pure vanilla honey variant because it has no color. I can use it before put on my colorful lipstick.

This product has SPF 25. I think that this SPF is enough for my lips. Some lips products usually just have SPF 15, so its SPF is quite high. It is also enriched with Vitamin E and intensive moisture. It also has Halal certificate, so for moslims, don't worry while using it. It has vanilla scent. I really love this scent.

How to use : 

Use it whenever you need and want. Ha!

Result on me : 

As you can see in the ingredients, there are so many ingredients that create greasy and thick feeling on lips, like oils, cera alba, butter, etc. I usually use it regularly in the night. In the day, sometimes I use it before applying lipstick on my lips. Sometimes I skip this product in the morning because I don't like its result on my lipstick. It make my lipstick fade easily and glossy even if I wear matte lipstick. It also makes my lipstick difficult to apply because of my sticky lips after using this lip care. 

I had read from some blog, that to vanishing this sticky feeling, you should leave this lip care/lip balm some time to absorb on your lips. Then, you can dab your lips with tissue before applying the lipstick. Unluckily, I usually have bath right before going out, so, I just have few time for make up and put on my skin care, so, waiting this lip care to absorb is really took time for me. But, you can try it. 

What I like : 

- Cheap.

- Has UV Protection (SPF).

- Love the vanilla scent.

What I don't like : 

- No PA (Protection for UV A).

- Sticky and greasy.

Price : About IDR 18,000 (About USD 1.5) for 2.2 g.

Repurchase : Maybe. (Yes, it is cheap and has high SPF)

[Review] Garnier Duo Clean Whitening and Smoothening

Product that I want to review today is really happening a year before. Why I just review it tight now? That is because last year I have several problems with my skin. So now, after some problems are cured, I try some face wash for my normal/sensitive/dry skin. (Ouch, jut remember that I still have some skin problems. :( ). 

Garnier Duo Clean Whitening and Smoothening Face Wash

Garnier Duo Clean has 3 variants and I alrady reviewed another one here. The packaging is similar. It is in tube. The different is just the color. This whitening and smoothening variant has purple color.

It says that it contains grape extract and lychee essence for antioxidant and anti dullness. It clearness the skin deeply, giving you smoother and fairer skin. 

Its ingredients.

The texture is quite similar with other variants. It's cream with slightly purple color. I like the scent. It smells like flower or fruit. 

Its consistency.

 Direction : 

Gently massage on wet face. Rinse with water. Avoid eye area. 

Result :

It clean my face and give smooth effect on my face. I don't see the whitening effect. It is also mild for my skin. Also love the scent.

What I like : 

- Its smoothing effect.

- Its scent.

What I don't like : 

- The whitening effect doesn't work on me.

[Review] Maybelline Clear Smooth Original Presses Powder

Hello fellas, 

I know, I know that already know this product, but I still want to review this product because I like it. What's an egoistic reason is it! 

 Maybelline Clear Smooth Original Pressed Powder

It says that this product gives you lasting oil control, shine free, silky smooth, and natural finish. It contains SPF 20 and PA+++. Its UV protections are quite enough for me who live in Indonesia. It also says that this product is oil free, won't clog pores, fragrance free, and gentle on skin. 

 Its puff

 The packaging is similar with other compact powder. It has blue/green colour. It puff is quite smooth and I love this kind of puff. 

Its ingredients

For this compact powder, I chose shade Honey. I hope it suits my NC 35 skin. The result, yes, it is too dark for my skin actually, but it is better than shade natural which is too pinkish for me. Shade Honey is warm colour for yellow tone skin. It is not really suit my skin tone, but I find it okay. As long as I haven't found the best shade, I can use this shade.

Result : 

For now, I use this powder daily. I like using pressed powder because it is easy for touch up. I like the shade. Yes, it doesn't clog my pores. For oil control, I don't really know because I have dry skin. This powder can last for around 5 hours on my dry skin. No oxidize also.

What I like : 

- It's smooth and doesn't give 'too matte' effect. 

- Its UV protections.

What I don't like : 

- Tricky to find best shade for me.

[Review] La Tulipe Firming Eye Treatment

Okay, come again with another review. 

Now I will share my eye cream. I bought this thing because the beauty assistant told me that this product really great for skin and she also use it for her. 

The product

The product is in tube with pointed lid. Actually it has paper box outside but I already throw it away. 

The product says that it contains read tea extract. It helps to maintain hydration, firmness of the skin, smoothness of the fine line and wrinkles around the eyes. 

The consistency

The cream is white with fragrance. I like the fragrance. The scent makes me sleep tight. I apply this cream regularly sometimes because I like the scent.  

Result :  

I'd never used eye cream before so I think the skin in the eyes area is smoother, but I usually I don't put any moisturizer on them. It looks clearly the difference between my eyes area after I using this product and before. But again, I can not say that this is good product because I didn't use any product before. About fine lines, I saw it decreasing but it was just a little. 

I think I love the scent very much. I will sleep tight if I use this cream before. It works like aromatherapy for me. 

What I like : 

- The scent makes me sleep well.

What I don't like : 

- The result is just so so.

 Repurchase : Maybe no. I want to try other eye products.

[Review] Pixy Cleansing Express Brightening

Today, I want to share my holy grail to clean my face every day. I have repurchased this product several times. I also always buy this every month. This product is really popular in Indonesia. Many beauty bloggers rave this product. No wonder, this product is great, cheap and easy to find. This is Pixy Cleansing Express Brightening.

This product is a whitening product, but as long as I use it, I don't see the whitening effect. It's okay for me as long as it works well as a cleanser. I can say that it works better than my double cleanser, based on the dirtiness of the facial cotton. It also says that its alcohol free, so it will be good even for dry or sensitive skin.

Its consistency is like water. I don't smell any scent in this product. Just like the water.

The result : 

As I can say in the introduction, this product is really great for cleaning face. If you don't wear any make, it's enough if you just this product. But if you put heavy make up, it's better to use make up remover first before use this product to get the advance cleaning. I use this product as my everyday cleansing product in the night and morning. 

Great even for waterproof eye liner

In the picture above, I tried to clean several lipsticks, eye liner, and eye shadow using this product. After several swipes, even, the Maybelline waterproof eyeliner has faded away. But I think for eyes area, it's better using product for eyes. I use the eye liner just to show how great this product is. 

What I like : 

- Cheap.

- Work great.

- Alcohol free. 

What I don't like : 

- Nothing.

[Review] L'oreal Extraordinary Oil

Hi gurls, 

It seems quite difficult for me to write the first sentence because you, my readers, might be bored by the usual greeting that same or similar all the time. Sorry, I couldn't think of any other words.

Let's jump into the review. This is quite special because I like this product. Not favorite but we can say that I do recommend this for your beautiful hair. This product is Loreal Extraordinary Oil.

This product come in paper box with elegant design. The bottle inside is made of glass. It's quite heavy but it doesn't matter for me because I like this elegant packaging. 

Its packaging

It says that it is more than regular hair vitamin. It extracted from 6 kind of flower suitable for your hair. It can be used everyday based on its functions : 

1. To shine your hair : you can apply this oil every time even on dry hair.

2. To protect your hair before styling : apply after washing your hair, before using blowdryer or other hair tools. 

3. To give nutrients to your hair : Apply on the half wet hair after washing the hair.

The consistency

The consistency is oily and very thick. I don't really like the consistency. It makes my comb become oily too. I don't really like the scent. Some people said that the scent is elegant but for me, it's too heavy. Not strong, but maybe because I prefer flowery scent so I don't like that kind of scent. 

Result : 

Love it. I can see the difference between regularly using this product and not. My hair become tidy and shiny. 

What I like : 

- Work as it claims.

What I don't like : 

- Sticky.

- Expensive.

- The scent.

[Review] Hada Labo Gokujyun Alpha

After reviewing Hada Labo Whitening a while ago, I finally decided to try this anti aging variant because I found some dark spot in my nose and it couldn't be removed by the whitening variant. I thought that the dark spots are caused by UV. Yep, I gave the anti aging variant a try. Lets jump to the review guys. 

Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun Series

Similar with whitening variant, this anti aging variant also come in package consist of lotion, milk, and face wash. The different is, in this variant, the face wash is mild peeling, not a regular face wash to clean the skin. You can call this series Hada Labo Ultimate Anti Aging or Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun series. As this is Hada Labo, you an find the philosophy of perfect x simple. All of the product are produced without colorant, parfume, mineral oil, and alcohol. Sadly, all product still contain methylparaben as a preservative. Alcohol is also found in its milk. It just consists of useful ingredients.

1. Hada Labo Ultimate Anti Aging Lotion

This Hada Labo Lotion's texture is liquid and the color is white. This consistency is more watery than the milk. Although it is watery, it's thicker than Hada Labo Shirojyun/whitening lotion.

Result : 

I use this product every night. I read somewhere that using retinol is best at night because skin will be sensitive to the sun. Using UV filter product is a must every day while you add retinol in your skincare routine. Actually, I am satisfied with this product. I've been using this product for 4 months and I see that some of dark spots are already fade away. I also has purchased this product in a full size.

2. Hada Labo Ultimate Anti Aging Milk

 As I said before, this milk's consistency is thicker than the lotion. The color is white and has yellow hint or we can say cream. The consistency is like thick milk.

Result :

As I using this product in the night, I dont't put this milk because it's work as a day cream. Actually, there's also Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun Night Cream but I'm too poor to buy the night cream and I think the lotion is quite enough for me. I use this milk product for acne. If I see some pimples in my face, I just put this Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun Milk and the next day, the pimples are gone without scars. Yap, retinol once is famous as a anti acne product and this product work really good for acne. Hahahaa....

3. Hada Labo Mild Peeling AHA+BHA Face Wash

 Hada Labo Mild Peeling Face Wash

This face wash is creamy with white color. You just need to use it as a regular face wash. Although it's peeling, the consistency is quite soft. It says in the product, that if you use it, you have to use sunscreen with minimal SPF 15. You also should avoid eyes and mouth's areas. Stop using this product if you find some hypersensitivity (redness or burning feel).

Ingredients : 

Water, Butylene Glycol, Potassium Myristoyl Glutamate, PEG-400, Lauramidoproyl Betaine, Lauramide DEA, Stearic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauric Acid, Glycol Distearate, Polyquaternium-39, Potassium Hydroxide, Salicyc Acid, Methylparaben.

Result : 

It says that you can use this product daily, but I just use this product twice a week. I read that using peeling everyday is not good for your skin. It says also that this product also good as a make up remover. But still, I'm not satisfied with just using face wash only to remove make up. So I still clean my make up before washing my face with this product. 

The consistency

Conclusion :

If I have to put all the product in order from which one I like to I dislike, it will go to : 

1. Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun Lotion. It work as what I want to remove my dark spots. 

2. Hada Labo Alpha Gokujyun Milk. It's good for acne. 

3. Hada Labo Mild Peeling Face Wash. Not really like it.

After reviewing Marina serum here and another variant here, it's time for the Hand and Body Lotion. The review will be short because it's similar with the serum. This lotion also contains Yogurt, Superfruit Acai Berry, Vitamin B3 and E. It has SPF 30 and PA++. It's also 2x extra long protection for lasting white looking skin. It also said that this product has brightening, glowing, fresh, and healthy effect. 

Ingredients :

It works as other hand body lotion. For brightening effect, I don't see it works. If you don't need brightening effect, I think this hand body lotion is enough. It also already has SPF 30 and PA++, although actually I prefer PA+++. If you need cheap hand body lotion, this one work quite good. 

What I like : 

- Contain SPF 30 and PA++.

- Cheap.

- Available in many stores. 

What I don't like : 

- I prefer PA+++.

I used this product a while a go while I have many acne on my face. After suffering from acne and some products didn't work, I try this one. Actually, I already repurchase this item.

It says in the package that it's oil free and won't clog pores. It also reduces appearance of acne from 4 hours. It contains salicylic acid formula that works faster than cleansing alone. It reduces redness and the size of acne in 4 hours. Fast and clinically proven solution for acne prone skin, leaves skin noticeably clearer.

The consistency

The consistency of the product is gel and transparent. For a while after applying, you will not noticing it. It safe if you want to apply it before go out. You just wait for a while, put moisturizer, wear some make up and done. I like the gel consistency. 

How to use : 

Apply and re-apply directly onto pimple as needed until pimple clears, for skin that's clean, clear, and under control. Avoid contact with the eyes. Not to be used for children under three years old. 

Result : 

Yes, it works as it's claimed. Not only me, my friend also tried this and love it. It reduces pimples in more less 4 hours. The pimples are not go away, but the size and redness is reducing. After using it 3-4 days, I can say that the pimple is go away. Super love it. 

What I like : 

- Works greatly. 

- Available in many stores.

- Cheap.  

What I don't like : 

- Nothing.

[Battle Review] Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari & Zoya Exfoliating Cream

Yeee... 

Today will be my most favorite post. It's battle review. Today battle review is to compare two drugstore exfoliating products. They are Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari and Zoya Exfoliating Cream Normal to Dry. 

Both products

That two products are made in Indonesia. One is from Mustika Ratu, a brand that is famous for its traditional and natural ingredients. Another, Zoya, is new brand that focus on Muslim make up and skin care. Both also in the same range price. The packaging is also similar.

Few months a go I already reviewed the Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari. You can read its review here.

Zoya specifically says that their product that is for normal to dry skin. They have other product for oily skin. While Mustika Ratu is suitable for every type of skins. Zoya says that their product helps remove dead skin cell and has function as a deep cleanser. Mustika Ratu also says that their product helps cleanse and exfoliate dead skin cells. The function of both products are same.

For the ingredients of Zoya, you can see on the picture above.  Below are the Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari's ingredients :

Texture

Texture and consistency of Zoya is smoother and watery than Mustika Ratu. Both products are white. Mustika Ratu has traditional fragrant while Zoya has chemical/bitter scent. I don't taste it but, from the smell, Zoya is bitter. 

How to use : 

1. Zoya : Apply onto face. Massage gently until the scrub becomes drop. Cleanse with water. Dry with towel.

2. Mustika Ratu : Apply onto face and neck. Avoid eyes area. Wait untill half dry and then gently rub off the powder. Rinse with water. 

The difference

Result :

The products work differently. While using Mustika Ratu, you have to wait until the product half dry. You don't need to do that with Zoya. As you can see, the particle of Mustika Ratu is dirtier than Zoya, I assume that Mustika Ratu cleans better. But the number of Zoya's particle is more than Mustika Ratu's, so Zoya may clean better.  I don't know, which is better. You have to massage hard with Mustika Ratu, but you just need to massage gently with Zoya. If you have dry skin, you can try Zoya. If you don't know your skin yet, you can try Mustika Ratu. 

Which one is the winner?

Hmmm... Both has positive and negative. 

1. Mustika Ratu 

+ Cleanse dead skin better ( I think).

- You have to wait until half dry.

- Rub your face off quite hard to remove the dirt and dead skin cells.

2. Zoya

+ Watery. Just massage gently as soon as you apply the product.

- Bitter scent.
